In Loving Memory of Jim Tonsmeire

On April 12, 2026, we said goodbye to a deeply cherished member of our family, Jim Tonsmeire. Jim was a man who loved nothing more than making his grandchildren laugh and sharing his warmth with everyone around him.

To honor his generous spirit, the Tonsmeire family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Jack Academy. Jack Academy educates children from preschool through primary school, providing a hot lunch, basic medical care, free uniforms, clean water and joy! Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty, provide a better future, and improve family preservation. By focusing on one village in Ghana, we can have a personal relationship with the people and their struggle, and we can ensure that every dollar donated goes to meet its intended need.

For many children in our rural village, access to nutritious meals is limited and hunger during the school day detracts from their ability to learn and thrive.
